Ethan Head is a drummer, composer, and sound designer based in Eastern Iowa. Known for his steady, improvisational style across rock, blues, country, and musical theater, Ethan has performed everywhere from Carnegie Hall to the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Beyond the stage, he creates immersive sound design for SciPlay’s casino apps as well as Gold Fish Hexa Blocks—working in Logic Pro and Cubase to craft dynamic, player-driven audio experiences. He also composes and arranges for jazz, hybrid, and percussion ensembles, blending his rhythmic precision with modern production sensibilities. Whether performing, producing, or designing sound, Ethan’s goal remains the same: to make music that moves people.
